An Assistant Professor in Geology by Profession, Dr. Jaikiran has varied interests that spans from] Knowledge Management to e learning. Trained in Educational Management through the Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Management and Administration from University of Kerala, he has undertaken a research work on "Documenting soft knowledge associated with teaching" and presented a "Toolkit on Higher Education" at the Transdisciplinary Conference, 2009 in Bern, Switzerland.
He is a mentor in the Virtual Class room, www.teachingcafe.ning.com, an initiative of Prof. A.Vigliotti of the State College Florida US.
Currently, he is coordinating a programme of the Dept of Higher Education, Govt of Kerala 'Fostering Linkages in Academic Innovation and Research'(FLAIR) aimed at imparting state of the art training for the young faculty members of the Colleges and Universities of the Kerala State.
