IT'S ABOUT ME
My name is Joan Mills. I grew up in a very large family of ten (10). I live at Carifesta Village - a quiet, clean and beautiful village.
Oh, did I tell you that I am living in the lovely island of St. Kitts? Well visit one of the sites to learn a little about St. Kitts. The best is yet to be seen, so come and visit. Welcome to St.Kitts and Nevis
I am presently employed by the Government of St. Kitts at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College as Head of the Business Department/Coordinator of the Applied Arts, Office Administration and Management Programme. I am also a Lecturer of:
- Information Technology
- Computer Application
- Computer Concepts
- Training Office
- I am also a Lecturer in the Division of Adult and Continuing Education at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College. This offers courses in the evening so that working adults can attend and upgrade their skills. I teach Information Technology and Electronic Document Preparation and Management. I also lecture for different organisations occassionally for adults. For example, the YES programme offered by the Government of St. Kitts-Nevis through The National Skills Unit.
One of the main areas that the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College has continue to excel in is the Associated Degree in Applied Arts, Office Administration and Management Programme. This programme was franchised from the Barbados Community College and has a number of courses attached to it. The courses and a brief description can be seen under the heading Office Administration and Management at the BCC site.
Objectives of CFBC Business Studies Programme.
Presently, I am attending a three-day workshop arranged by the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and facilitated by Mrs. Rosario Passos. Information about the workshop can be viewed.
