My profile
Hi. My name is Karen. I live in Canada, in a small community on the shores of Lake Huron in southwestern Ontario. I am interested in the wiki world as a way of
- connecting with other educators
- sharing resources
- and solving commmon problems
Professional background
I am a retired college teacher with 20+ years of teaching experience. My last assignment, prior to retiring, was a three year stint as a curriculum consultant in our Teaching and Learning Centre in a mid-size eastern Ontario college.
Education
I have a
- BA in Sociology and Women's Studiens and
- MA in adult education.
My interests
Professional
I am very interested in the area of curriculum development, faculty development and have a new interest in hybrid learning.
Personal
When not workin,g I enjoy reading, especially Canadian literature, gardening and my dog, Keon.

- I registered for eL4C47, a Learning4Content workshop to learn wiki skills.
