My interests

My professional interest are around development learning theories and online learning in the k-12 environment centered around teacher created resources using Moodle as the vehicle for delivery.

When my Ph.D is finished, I will return to basket making, needle work, drawing and try my hand at oil painting. And playing with my dogs.

My wiki projects

  • I have used wikispaces and pbworks in my professional development classes I have taught. I have used them on a very limited way on projects with colleagues.

My optional community service (learning contract) project

100px-L4C-small.png  Agreement
By signing this optional learning contract I will try to complete my training in basic wiki editing skills to achieve the status of a Wikibuddy. In return for this free training opportunity, I will give the gift of knowledge by donating or developing at least one free content resource licensed under a CC-BY-SA or CC-BY license which can be used by myself (and others) on WikiEducator.
Brief description of project
I am not sure what community service project I could get invovled in, but I am open to suggestions

  • Not sure what I would do for a community project. Any ideas?
    • You might consider a project involving K-12 teachers, technology, and professional development. Or it could be basically anything that you are currently working on related to curriculum, assessment, and/or instruction. It helps to take a look at different Content and projects and initiatives already available in WE to get some ideas. It could be something that you start from scratch or you may want to contribute to someone else's work. Hope this helps. --Benjamin Stewart 17:06, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
