My wiki projects

  • I registered for eL4C41, a Learning4Content workshop to learn wiki skills for my own benefit as well as understanding what is happening with the Fellows in our program when they incorporate wikis in their projects.

(Comment.gif: Hi Betsy, Welcome to this workshop eL4C41. I am your facilitator along with Anirban, Derek & Sarita. We will help you and will watch your page develop. Enjoy this learning mode and ask for help if needed. Warm Wishes.--Dr. Gita Mathur 13:20, 21 July 2010 (UTC))

Hello Gita thank you for that I had a bit of trouble loading a photo so finally gave up as it was taking too long. I ended up with a photo of a handsome African person! Also when I get on to today's task it tells me the link for the discussion does not yet exist, so Ill use the "ask us" link to see what happens have a good day Betsy

  • Oops! I understand how you feel when some one else lands on your personal Userpage. To avoid this rename your photos as Betsy1, Betsy2 etc. This happens if someone else has used the same brand digital camera & the photo has auto-generated number.--Dr. Gita Mathur 17:34, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
  • (Comment.gif: Please check the file size, reduce it to upload. This may solve your problem about uploading photos.--Dr. Gita Mathur 08:05, 27 July 2010 (UTC))

(Comment.gif: Hi Betsy. I am also from Australia, I live in Perth. I am also involved in teaching Workplace Training. I used to deliver the BSZ in the TAFE sector, I now deliver a workplace learning unit as an optional unit in a BA in Human Resources degree at Edith Cowan Uni. Your page is looking good. Hang in there with your photo's they will make your page come alive. If you need a hand to reduce your image sizes or have any other questions please ask. Cheers ) --jennip 14:10, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
