Reflection

If a man will begin with certainties, he shall end in doubts;

but if he will be content to begin with doubts, he shall end in certainties..

About Me | मेरे बारे में

A Mechanical graduate from BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus (Rajasthan, India) with a brief stint in Microsoft (Technical Sales). I have plans to pursue higher education in Robotics & data-driven Intelligence.

My current research work focuses on distributed computing algorithms and protocols. This is the same technology that powers Peer-to-Peer solutions (such as Tor, Torrent, Cryptocurrency, SETI@Home, etc.) and Cloud Computing. I have a working knowledge of secure programming using cryptographic libraries and language hacks.

I provide consultancy to non-profits in their digital transformation journey. More specifically, I help these organizations leverage commercial cloud solutions (non-profit SKUs) to -

  1. improve collaboration among volunteers (on-line & on-field)
  2. individualize communication with donors (& other subscribers)
  3. customize & personalize the experience of each stakeholder

As a hobby, I'm currently exploring permaculture.

Feedback

As I'm new to WikiEducator, I'll try documenting all the issues that I face while navigating the wiki. I'll revisit to solve these at a later stage.

  • Manual account creation - it takes around 2 weeks to get the account approved.
  • Initiatives categorization - projects should be group & sorted by update frequency
  • New User Pathway - there should be a To-Do checklist to help new users get comfortable with WikiEducator
  • OERu realtime chat - requires another manual approval for account creation. There should be an identity sync between WikiEducator and OERu.
  • Web Chat - broken link
