Hi, I am a teacher working in St.Helena's School, Pune in India since 1990. I have been teaching the ICSE curriculum for subjects including home science for Class IX & X and geography for class V. I also teach Home Science for students of National Institute of Open Schooling. I am currently pursuing a post graduate course in e - learning from the Indian Institute of Education, Pune. I also taught the students of School of Fashion Technology the subject "Indian Textiles". My current project is to incorporate web - based learning in my present lesson plans for classes IX & X. My main objective is to create a platform for e-learning in the regular one-to-one teaching method. I am eager to learn new techniques in the field of education and e-learning.

I started showing my present Home Science syllabus to my students through computer based learning methods like Powerpoint, Web based learning, etc. Many of my students are on social networking sites like blogspot.com where me and my students exchange ideas and interact thoughts on the subject.
