Your daughter on correspondence

Hi Jane It's great to read that your daughter had a positive experience learning as part of the e-school of The Correspondence School. I've viewed your little slide show too. How does one make up a swf file??

Barbara There are several ways - you can use Flash and then save the file as a swf, but Flash is quite an expensive program - you might have it on some of your machines as it is part of the Adobe Suite of programs. Another way is to use ispring in conjuction with PowerPoint - there is a free version that works with PowerPoint and will convert your powerpoint to a swf file

"Handy PowerPoint to Flash Converter Free PowerPoint to Flash converter promptly creates web-friendly Flash (.SWF) movies from your PowerPoint content (.PPT, .PPS, .PPTX, .PPSX) keeping its visual parameters, animation effects and slide transitions, audio narrations, video and Flash objects after conversion.

iSpring Free works within PowerPoint, transforming it into a fast and easy Flash authoring tool. It is compatible with any PowerPoint version 2000/XP/2003/2007 installed on a Windows machine. To create Flash files viewable on any device from your PowerPoint presentations, just install iSpring Free, open your PowerPoint presentation, click Quick Publish and get Flash slideshows from your PPT presentations in just a few seconds."
