Hi Miltonchebet,

welcome to WikiEducator. My name is Günther Osswald, a science teacher in Germany.

As you write that 80% of Ugandans are owning a mobile phone, it would be extremely exiting to use this technology for teaching and leaning. Do you agree?

With our Center (ask Vincent) we are already working on a vision how to work on this. I you want to join our group, welcome!

Hi Osswald, im also a science teacher of Biology and physical Education first im exited to receive a comment from you. i strongly agree with you that its exiting using mobile phone technology in learning. We at Gayaza High School where Vincent is also teaching are working around the corner to have sms form of content sent to our students.we are piloting this project this holiday. we got mobile numbers from students as they went home for holidays and we have started sending them sms content, the other way we are using this technology is sending students sms to check on their email adresses for the content we have sent them, the project we had already started some time.

i will stronly love joining your group, so far i have enjoyed the wikieducator.

Hi Milton,

wow, I didn't know Gayaza High is s o progressive!

I get "electric" when I hear this because I think if we want to innovate physics teaching throughout the country, we have to use this mobile phone technology to reach teachers and students even out in the bush.

I'm eager to get more details on your project there, only now Christmas is approaching and I've to care for the needs of my family. But sign in and midst of January we'll continue our work there.

Best regards and nice holidays, Günther --GünOss 14:28, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
