He successfully enabled his school achieves Microsoft pathfinder status and later Mentor status, a first of its kind in the region. This was through engaging students and teachers in many projects involving use of ICT as a driver. He has also successfully organized and facilitated Innovative Teachers Workshops in Uganda on use of ICT in teaching and learning through project based learning.
He participated in developing eTutoring website for the school and he is active in contributing towards it through content sharing and also training his student parents, students and colleagues on how to use the eLearning platform. Through the various training his students have been able to develop learning content, media for social change etc and share on school you tube account. This was after training in Adobe Youth Voices and guided students in creating media for social change and learning content. He has represented Uganda at international level and global level presenting many projects he had come up with and facilitated the students in accomplishing them. He successfully completed a professional iEARN online course on science and technology. This enhanced his skills of collaboration, content sharing, blogging etc. Through his effort he has been able to enable his collegues acquire laptops on a hire purchase. This boosted the use of ICT in learning process in the school. He also came up with innovative methods of conserving local medicinal plants, a project which became a success in the community and many herbal gardens were established at school and community. This was a winning project at an international event. He has a wide international exposure through ICT4D related conferences and workshops he has attended as a participant and presenter. Among them include; Middle East and Africa Microsoft Innovative educators forum- Jordan. September 2011, E-Learning Africa, ICT4D international conference- Dar es Salaam - May 2011, World Innovative Microsoft Education forum Salvador-Brazil- November 2009, Pan African Innovative educator’s forum- Mauritius 2009 where his project “ICT in conserving local medicinal plants” emerged the best in a contest, Pan African Microsoft Innovative teachers’ forum awards 2008, Accra Ghana. April 2009. He also attended 3rd international conference on ICT4D,- Ghana- 2008 where he picked a lot of interest in ICT4D. His experience in integrating ICT into the learning process has enabled him to successfully teach students using various means such as the use of emails, Wikipedia, creating blogs for learning, and the proper use of social medias such as You Tube in a third world nation. He also has good collaboration skills attained through many international online programs such as iEARN international, taking IT global etc. where he is an active contributor. He also has a good Presentation and Negotiation Skills and experience at making and developing enticing presentations to capture an audience. His communication and Interpersonal Skills has seen him becoming socially confident about his work, quick to build rapport and able to maintain good relations even when communicating disagreeable information to his students, colleagues and any audience he communicate to. He is able to communicate clearly; explaining clearly using simplistic means to his audience. He is also Self-Motivated and has a 'Can Do' Attitude. Through self-study, he has enhanced and developed numerous skills like how to influence his colleagues in per suing and achieving their goals, how to deal with people in the community. Lastly he believes there is no heavier burden than the unfulfilled potential. |

"Tusonge" Rabbit Project Tusonge is a Kiswahili word which means “we move”. It is from this that Tusonge project was formed. After marketing the community enterprises through e-market library, one of the projects that moved the lead teachers and students was the rabbit project and we felt “we should move” from where we stopped to another level. Hence the birth of “tusonge rabbit Project” The project is registered fully under GREATER Gayaza High School. The overall purpose of the organization is to empower the students with entrepreneurship skills, ICT skills, collaboration skills and media creation skills among others in their work under taken for community development activities. The program benefit the teachers, students and the community. Objectives of the project 1. To empower the students with entrepreneurship skills 2. To train students in ICT skills needed in business world 3. To empower ourselves economically 4.
