Visit to a Blind School in your respective countries
Dear Lions, please let me know when are you sending me the proof of visit to a blind school in your respective home countries?--Luisaserra 16:10, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
honestly iam yet to undertake any visit. Utang's withdrawal is a set back for me. i will plan to do sometime by the week.
Hi Akachi, it is indeed a set back that Utang has withdrawn her studies, let's keep in touch with her and support her. Is it possible for you to follow up with Hermanus on the assignmnets and if I can send an instruction to DHL to pick them, that would be the fastest.--Luisaserra 16:17, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Hermanus is yet to respond as promised. I will follow up with him later this evening on facebook. to revert with his response ASAP.
That will be good. I also just noted that it is his birthday tommorrow, members may wish to send him a note to let him know we still remember him.
(: Kago -- It pains me that the phone i set a reminder for your Birthday gave up on me until last night. But happy belated Birthday!!!! Be blessed forever!)
allow me to ask the question again, are we limited to a blind school? can we not go to disadvantaged children's school. there is no blind school in our vicinity, the nearest one is 500kms away.
Hi Kay go the assignment says disabled people, so I would think it is ok. The reason we are saying blind school is because you are suppose to contribute for the assignment, but it is better to visit what is near you than not to visit, so I would recomend you go for it.--Luisaserra 16:19, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks Luisa, this answers my question also. Will undertake this within the week and report. Do you want photoes or some more detailed report?
Victor, Kay go and Akachi, I believe I will have an appendix with all the proof of the schools visited by the Lions, feel free to send photos, a samll brief on the school and any other information you will find suitable to proof you have visited the school.--Luisaserra 16:25, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
