Statement of authorship and safety

Jump to: navigation, search

Hi I was thinking it would be nice to give some background as to where this resource came from and who the authors are. I also came across this sort of statement and it decided it might be wise to add some sort of disclaimer as well. e.g.

Safety disclaimer

Please keep in mind that the material on this site can be edited by ANYONE. With that in mind, please realize that safety of the teaching ideas cannot be and is not guaranteed by the original authors. Responsibility for classroom safety is a matter for discussion with the administration of your school.

What do you think?

You are a star when it comes to the internet protocols. I am very pleased to have you looking after that side of things for us. I think the disclaimer is a very good idea. I wouldn't want to be liable or responsible for anything personally.

Not sure about background info. Only real issue I have is attributing work to us and then somebody edits it and we haven't written it, if you know what I mean. Anywho I will go with consensus. Tina

Hi Added the word originally to authors - does this help? I just thought it might be an idea to signify somewhere that it was a student project? Happy to take this out if we agree...
