If anyone has the time or inclination, please make the exercise more imaginative and less abstract.
One approach to having tables side by side (or actually arranged anywhere on a page) is to put each table into a frame: Insert/Frame ... - set some properties. For example align left, make it a bit bigger <ok>. Then insert another frame, align it right, etc. <ok>. Then the tables can be created, pasted etc. into each frame, and the frames can be moved around with the mouse to the required position. Ktucker 08:38, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
