Language in Recommended tag(s)

In the ask OERu template, the recommended tags are AST1000 plus pedagogy. I wonder if including the word "plus" could be more confusing than helpful, as people who don't understand tags may type the full phrase in the tag field of the question entry form.

I noted this same phrasing in the Ask OERu templates in ocl4ed but there doesn't seem to be any questions generated by participants to see how people entered tags.
