How should we attribute images
This page has three images. All require attribution. Is it enough to attribute on the image page in WE, or should each of the images include specific attribution in the caption? If attribution is required, is there an example effective attribution on another image that we could use as a model?

The proper convention in WE is to include all the metadata and attributions on the image page, for example:

In other words we don't attribute the image in the caption (although some users have done this.) The preferred approach is to do the proper attributions on the image page (and an advantage of sourcing images from the wiki commons because the full attributions come over to the WE image pages.)
I knew that the image page should include all of the info about the image, but I didn't realize that WE then didn't need to attribute on a page that included an image. This translates into time/effort savings and results in a less-cluttered page. More reasons to use WE for OERs :)
I think one of the images includes attribution in the caption. I will check to be sure the image file has all of the necessary metadata and will delete the attribution from the image.
