Haiku or cinquain

Jump to: navigation, search

Hi there,

I have no idea what a counterpoint poem is...please also explain this in the activity, also with an example.

Also, please explain what a persuasive argument is. It seems as if we need more content here - maybe a little section on poetry and arguments just above the activity...or else this can be provided in the teacher notes (which may be better) for the teacher to explain. But yet again, not all teachers are familiar with all these styles of poems - I am a teacher, and I am only familiar with Haiku poetry, as mentioned above, hence those examples and explanations I talked about are still needed.

Kind regards Leigh

Hi Leigh added teacher notes with accompanying links about poetry and removed the word counterpoint from the task as this seemed confusing. I have removed persuasive argument. It was basically one side of the debate so I felt we had already covered this Tina
