E-Newsletter; Technical Discussion
Dear friends,
I am not that much sound in the technicalities of e-Newsletter, however let me start this discussion with the following note.
I understand that we have following options with regards to an eNewsletter.
- Text only newsletter: Newsletter will be in the text format and pasted in the mail.
- Text and attached HTML version: Text version will be the part of the email and HTML version will be an attachment.
- Online eNewsletter: In this method HTML newsletter will be added to the website and the link will be posted to those in the mailing list.
- HTML only eNewsletter : It is seen reported that though most email programs allow to send HTML only newsletters, it may create reading problems for some.
In the event of creating HTML newsletter http://www.phplist.com/ is an open source option.
Your comments please….. Shall we plan to start it in the New Year?
