E-Mail ID generation campaign across Karnataka.

Jump to: navigation, search

Namasthe Anil,

I am asked to draft a report to WikiEducator by Wayne regarding 'what next after L4C workshop etc'. I have drafted it on a page linked to my user page. Please go through it. After having found that in our college majority of the faculty members do not have E-Mail ID, I suggested the Principal to encourage them to generate it at the earliest instance in the Computer Department which has 40 PCs and 35 more are expected. The department is internet enabled and is ready for a take off.

Next stage of my effort would be to extend this campaign to the colleges affiliated to Mangalore University and then across Karnataka.

Hope this will inaugurate the extensive wiki-extension activity in Karnataka.

Dear Dr. Ramakrishnan Ji,

As Dr. Wayne has mentioned you are really a model WikiEducator Ambassador...wonderful initiatives that are very practical and much needed. I am really proud of you.

While creating email IDs please advise them to create it on the same platform like gmail etc so that group discussions etc will be easier.

Warm regards Anil

Urgent[edit]

Namaste Anil,

The nation celebrates the birth day of Late Dr.S.Radhakrishnan as the TEACHERS' DAY on the 5th of September. Why not launch nation-wide wiki-awareness campaign for teachers?

"A computer literate, internet enabled teacher is better equipped for creating nation-building generation." This can be the quote for a book mark which depicts L4C workshop,WikiEducator, India Page, Team India and a call for E-Mail ID campaign.

Why not release a joint statement/news release by Team India?

Please ACT.

PS. I have gathered the list of 648 colleges under six universities in Karnataka. Hope to post the WikiEducator brochure to the Vice-Chancellors through the Dept. of Culture, Govt. of Karnataka, soon.

Dhanyavadah,

Dear Dr.Ramakrishnanji,

You are doing great things! It is really a good news. I would like to feature you on India Node. It will definitely inspire our community. In this connection could I request you to add a brief note on your WE related activities, other ODL related works etc on your WE user page?

Second, I have read your suggestion for a Teachers day joint statement, it is really innovative. In this regards also could I request you to start a new page like [[/Teachers Day 2008; Joint Statement/]] from India page and detail your suggestion a little more? We can refer that page to other WE community members for a collaborative development of the statement and input of suggestions on the further course of actions to be taken based on the statement.

Warm regards Anil
