Coyotes
Hi Alison,
I just noticed an important typo on the Coyote tools page. The example calculation was incorrect (actually, the final conclusion 'length = 18.22 cm ' was correct but an intermediate step listed 22 cm as the length (I had been working with a different example and have since removed that skull for re-photographing).

Not to worry. We got through the exercise without noticing (probably because we didn't actually calculate using the measurements in your sample).
I think the activity worked well, but in 1.5 hours, we were only able to figure out what to do and then do a few measurements. Did you see my feedback post on the main Digital Coyote project tools page?
It's hotter than blazes here today...seemingly way too hot for late May.

I just found your comments! Sorry about the delay. My watch list seems not to be working.
I appreciate the work on this. I'll be back on it in Spring. I'm on a different course in Fall, so it's unlikely that I'll get back on this unless the student who was working with me returns.
