Are the Climate Change discussions marginalising other issues?

Hi Ktucker,

I think you make a very good point. I've set up a new section on the front page called "Links to Environmental Impacts of Human Activity" containing your suggested headings. Please feel free to edit this as you see fit.

Personally I think that other equal important issues do get overlooked or marginalised when discusing climate change. I see climate change, loss of biodiversity, change of land use, pollution and other negative changes in the biosphere as being some of the consequences of our current economic system.

I think this link with the economy connects climate change with issues round human development including; social and economic justice, population and migration, international relations, how we allocate limit resources, democracy and accountability among others. I hope this project will explore these links to climate change.
