A new logo for WE -- thoughts and suggestions are most welcome.

Drawing is not really my good point, just some ideas. I like the present logo with the world in someone's hand. Maybe a computer screen can be put in the circle (world) and books, or pencils in the screen with the 5 olympic colours these represent at least one colour in a country's flag, this is to show the international side. The back ground could be black and white and the colours should be subtle coming out of the screen. --Nadia El Borai 23:18, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

I agree with Jesse that colours are important to give a good impression. But some days I like one colour and other times not. Maybe WE could be written with fine lines in the 5 olympic colours like ribbons.--Nadia El Borai 23:23, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi Nadia,

Yes -- the current concept of the world in someone's hand is definitely a candidate for our thinking about logos. Your suggestion of incorporating the Olympic colours on the basis that at least one is represented in each countries flag to reflect the internationalism of WikiEducator is a good idea.
