Hi Victor, currently regarding the sponsorship we will approach ceratin companies in Uganda and bring then for an event at Salama school. When the Newsletter is finalised by Shumi he will send it to all of you and you can check in your organisations to get some "sponsor money", then we can transfer to Uganda and be given in the event day to the school from the Lions team in SBL. Iam not sure if we will face constraints on time on this one but we can strive to do our best.--Luisaserra 16:35, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
I am truely hoping time will not go against us on this. If we dont mnage to raise company funds, perhaps we will all need to chip in "something" ourselves.
that's fine. i seriuosly believe the salama school needs our financial assistance. may we need to agree on our target.
Hi Akachi, I fully agree with you, that is whay next week we are going to contact sponsors to help addressing the Salama school needs they presented to me and Shumi. The event is going to be organised by Coca-Cola as part of our CSR project every year, we have adopeted this school and is for some years to make it viable and sustainable so you should not worry about the money to do the event, I hope it is a bit clear on this one. This does not mean we do not strive in our organisations to get some money for the school back in all our companies as part of our 913M assignment.--Luisaserra 16:43, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
great, we are home with this assignment.
The discussions I had with my colleagues from HR & Marketing, is that the event will be at Salama, the children will sing, and some identified sponsors will come to award the different products to the headmaster. The event will be organised together with Shumi and the Coca-Cola lady Maureen she is our Public Affairs guru. Of course we will have the magic drink COKE to celebrate with everyone, any ideas you might have please send it to Shumi.--Luisaserra 16:49, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
