January 5th Changes | 3 | 05:57, 10 January 2008 |
I reversed the January 5th changes cause they caused the template to sit over top of the link into the chapter in my CCNC work. If changes are going to be made to this template could the changes be tested against all the pages that are using it. Let me know if you require my help. Thanks -- Peter Rawsthorne 19:39, 8 January 2008 (CET)
Hi Peter,
Sorry about the inconvenience. There is a single case that we currently know of that causes an overlap with content. It is when the new default template directly follows a section heading (see Template:Objectives for more information)). To accommodate the case with the new default options, a break <br> can be added between the template and the section heading or the TopMargin can be manually changed via something like:
- {{Outcomes
- |TopMargin=10px
- }}
in the parameter list for the template. Unfortunately, I have not had time to update all the documentation on each template so that it is more obvious what to do.
Can you let me know what pages have the problem and I will have a look to see if they can work with the new defaults?
Cheers
I have attempted to update all references to Template:Outcomes in the CCNC work referred to on your user page so that they will work with the new default margins. Could let me know if you have other pages that are broken because of the change to the margins?
Thanks Rob, I will be sure to check the topmargin as I developp further pages...
