Template talk:Activity2
For Usage see Template:Activity2. Template was updated so that there is a third argument called header. It takes values in the set {0,1,2,3}. The default is 0 which means that the template is not included in the TOC. Values 1 to 3 correspond to the i in the <h i> tag and are represented in the TOC. For additional information see Template:Activity Kruhly 21:18, 17 March 2007 (CET)
The syntax with the #switch statement invoking a header inside or outside the decoration causes the righthand section edit links to get confused. This is documented at Help:Section#Editing_sections_of_included_templates. To help reduce the risk of lost data, __NOEDITSECTION__ has been added to the cases, header = {1,2,3} so that section editing is not available. Limited testing on User:Kruhly/Sandbox has shown that this works for the time being (ie the original behavior still exists for header=0, and header = {1,2,3} lists the template in the TOC). It would be nice to figure out a way around this limitation so that section editing could be available for all cases. -- Kruhly 20:47, 19 March 2007 (CET)

Wrapping the PutInTOC template in an #if statement seems to have fixed something. Now I can pass parameters for the top and bottom margins and they are accepted by the wiki. This allows me to create negative space by using a negative number of pixels for the margins and therefore improve the page layout. This seems to be particularly important when there are two pedagogical templates back to back.
