Template:Whatis

This template is for use in the wiki, where terms or processes may be unknown to participants. The aim of the template is to allow for educating participants on the term, or showing the participant how to perform an action without taking away from the flow of the content. The intention is to link to a relevant tutorial page or resource page.

Two parameters exist within this template: "tutorial" and "term".

Correct usage for the template:

{{Whatis|tutorial=<name of tutorial or page>|term=<term needing clarification with preceding indefinite article (a, an)>}}

Pages used for the tutorial parameter will most likely be tutorials from the Wikieducator tutorial.
