Lets make this happen

Regardless of your political leanings or thoughts on proprietary vs free software it is becoming increasingly obvious that the present system of pouring millions of New Zealand's educational dollars into overseas multi-national corporations has got to stop. Our pupils deserve more than this, our teachers and schools could certainly work with extra money in their school's budgets. This is not a finished document or idea but just a collection of thoughts that will hopefully help our Ministry of Education see the potential of the Free software movement.
