Modes includes built into design of the Learning environment is the total environment and experience. Shall we call it delivery modes - learning and teaching. Have to have teaching strategies, teacher guides learners - they use their own learning strategies.

blended learning with f2f, online and work-based

Has logical structure - Distinguish between individual and collaborative.

f2f
traditional distance - individual self-paced - distance pedagogies
online interactive or individual
work-based with experiential components - with or without work-based assessment
blended - f2f with something else
Just-in-time.
