Hi Shumi, that will be great i needed clarity in understanding if we do this project from a critique to CBC if all the EPM fundamentals were used, where can they improve, because the project has already been done, or do we do it as if we are tackling it from the begining taking into account all the correct steps we should have followed to deliver according to EPM principles--Luisaserra 16:43, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

- Each team needs to come up with a list of question that they would want me to ask at the interview with coke. This needs to be well thought out as its is the only data collection that will be done. We will only have one interview and one tour of the plant. We will only have one chance and we need to get this right the first time. The questions will also guide Luisa on what our info requirements are and she can help where she can. Is this ok?
Is there a timeline here? Yah i think we need to understandwhat is required and we try to get information that is not readily available.
I'm going to try and get the interview done by the 12th of June. Its probably better for you to think of these questions are you are doing your skeleton. Lets try to have this done by the next wiki

Perhaps if you put it in an template format and ask the team to help populate with questions in different categories. That may help make it faster and clear.

Lions, I have a lot of information abou CBC, I worked there for 4 years and I was in charge of the propject, at least from the installation point of view but there is the market side and the financials on it, but even here I have a lot of info, please be specific on what you need and I can get it for you out of my computer in at least 95% of your questions. Do not do it on Saturday evening, because Saturday is my time as mom and house wife, it is very difficult for me to open my computer on Saturdays.--Luisaserra 16:40, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Yes. It is covered by insurance 100%. It will be onthe road probably in a month's time because assessors take their time.

We have started to think about the project positioning. However, we need more information, and maybe a SWOT analysis, CBC Corporate strategy, market intelligence, govt policy, competition and all.
Ok JC. I spoke to luisa earlier this week. She's willing to help with such general info. As soon as our templates are out she can fill in small gaps such as those. I've also been to their website which provides info similar to your questions. The link is below:
Thanks for the link, but would be helpful to have a 2 page information on key company set up. Thats basically what will make up our abnalysis. I am happy to summarise question sthat we need to be able to comed up with a meaningful analysis. Hopefully we can avoid coming up with a generic document.

Dear Lions, what ever information you need, let's be clear maybe Victor can consolidate and I can request the CBC staff to give it to you some of it I have with me so do not go broad on what you want please go specific. As i highlighted i was totally lost so we did not do anything but we will be ready with our staff by Tuesday or Wednesday.Its my apology.
Ok Hove. I'd like to send this to Prof Rajah on Wednesday. Lets try to complete this by Tuesday so Victor can consolidate it and we send on Wednesday. Hove Shungu sent me something a couple of minutes ago. I've advised her that we will not consider it till we get a consolidate effort from both of you. I doubt that you've gone through it. Please see my e-mails. We need team efforts.
I think ours is ok but i also think we need to read the staff more thoroughly such that we get therequired information such as Macro, micro and market environments.

I spoke to a couple of us this afternoon and there seemed to be a bit of confusion on our strategy. Here’s another attempted explanation. Please confirm that it is ok.
- We are developing a template to answer our various sections on the project.
- The template consists of Subheadings, short prose and bullet points.
- The template will help guide our academic mentor in seeing our strategy to assessing the project.
- It will also guide us in ensuring that there’s no repetition in our answers.

Myself i got it today. I was somehow lost. But i think thats the best. Also it will help in putting flesh to each part.
Shumi, we need more information such as the following: 1. Market share 2. Ownership of CBC vs. Coca Cola 3. Government policies 4. Competition 5. Alternative products in the market 6. Product profitability 7. Corporate strategy, missions statement, objectives
