We need to courier this assignment on Tuesday 2 August. Talana stressed that she will check that the assignment was actually couriered on this day. Victor can advise us if he’ll be able to do this as he may be travelling. Any other concerns?

General Comments: Please comment as necessary

Appendixes Luisa has forwarded us a lot of data on the project. Please select a couple of relevant items to include as appendages on our final draft. For victor to format this well into our final draft, He’ll probably need this by Tuesday as well. Please give Victor a list of your references as well.

Recommendations I’ll try and have this out by Thursday 24 July. I know many of us have recommendations in mind already as we were doing the phases. Please drop me a one liner on your thoughts on recommendations. I hope to fit in an interview this week as well. Luisa I’ll be forwarding the questions tonight. Feel free to edit.

Personal Reflections The assignment requires us each to write 100 words of personal reflections on what has been particularly enlightening in doing this project. Can we have this done by Wednesday?

Earlier you mentioned that they could have gone too much into the insides. I hope you highlighted your specific areas of concern so we can table it for a discussion...perhaps we can skype with them once they've seen your comments.

I've sent a another attachment one layout of the how a SPA could be carried out. Its basically emphasizes a balanced score-card approach much like what is recommended by the lecturer. I think that the information is probably all there but it needs to be more focused on the brief

To me a large section of the Phase is dissecting the project, its insides basically, and discussing the pros and cons of the environment, The brief was to assess the strategic position of the project.

Phase 3: Calvin, I’ve been going through your section now. Almost finished. Just noticed that in some sections there are some one liners which need more flesh. I’ll highlight them to you with suggested ideas. Remember Phase 3 is the meat of the assignment so there can be no wishy washy stuff on it.
