Unclear on wiki transclusion in learning outcomes actions section

I'm guessing that the inclusion of the links to the E-Activity register is the beginning of an idea....as it's not in the outline yet. In fact no page links to the E-Activity register page. I thought maybe that was because it's an external link, but when I checked it, it's using transclusion markup. I'm not clear on why or what it's doing. Thanks.

First edit on the course description page

I'm wondering if the first edit on the course description page (#4 under Tasks) should be to type in "=About=", as the result will match the course description page for this course which is being used as a reference point. Thoughts?

Instructions needed under "Start here"

Hi,

It would be helpful if there were instructions under the "Start here" heading. It's pretty clear that the links are provided for consultation, but it seems it should be made explicit with instructions like "The links below lead to web pages of different open online institutions. Explore the sites to read a large variety of course descriptions. Are there any writing styles that you prefer?"

Cheers, Danielle

Hi Danielle,

I just found your post here on the discussion page. I agree, in fact, before I saw your suggestion I added a shorter bit as an intro to the list and took out the "course description" part of each link. But I like your wording better. I'm going to revise it to use something closer to what you've suggested here.

Thanks!
