Recommendation 39 National Funding

Recommendation 39. We recommend that the Government consider whether access to high-speed Internet and core ICT services should be funded nationally.

Comment: Devices, traffic and school provisioning should be funded over, say, 4 years, school by school as they ready themselves.
Ultimately it may be required that all local traffic charges to school sites be funded directly and removed from school budgets.
Certainly tenders should be prepared for the national-wide purchase of recommended equipment for schools including the subsequent installation and initial system administration. --Ian Mitchell FIITP 00:15, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
