Recommendation 35. We recommend that the Government consider whether the Crown-owned company Network for Learning Ltd be required to actively seek New Zealand content and services for delivery to schools.

Comment: While N4L should actively seek NZ content and services it should endeavour to do much of this by encouraging and co-ordinating local efforts.
Senior students should be able to provide much of the daily support.
Teachers can collaboratively and by crowd-sourcing select and recommend content.
Contracts could be issued to prepare for each subject/level curriculum a detailed ordered list of possible content topics – but not the content which is best elicited by crowd-sourcing through teachers and academics but subsequently also by learners.
Students should be able to create much content following on from enquiry-learning assignments. --Ian Mitchell FIITP 00:07, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
