Rare kiwi arrives to take up residence at ecosanctuary
Takahe the bird brought back from the dead.
TAKAHE UPDATE!
- One chick observed and Paku seems a very attentive Mum and was constantly feeding chick snippets of exotic grass. However the same couldn’t be said of Quammen who, in an hour, didn’t seem to feed the chick once and appeared to prefer sentry duty.
We expect good sightings/interactions in 2-3 weeks and thank you for your patience.
