Open Education Week is held every year as a showcase of global events and webinars to raise awareness about free and open educational opportunities that exist for everyone, everywhere, right now.

To celebrate the week Otago Polytechnic presents a series of webinars for its Open Lunchbox Series. Please join us online for one or more of the sessions listed in the schedule below.

Are you open or on the fence? The inner workings of an open pedagogy for the faint-hearted.

Presented by Bronwyn Hegarty, CapableNZ

Eight attributes of open pedagogy will be discussed under the umbrella of openness and Open Educational Practice (OEP). We will explore how engagement in the OEPosphere can benefit learners and teachers alike, and precipitate creative and inclusive learning communities.

The presentation is based on the 2015 article by Bronwyn Hegarty - Attributes of Open Pedagogy: A Model for Using Open Educational Resources, published in Educational Technology magazine.
