I've got several different wiki pages for different parts of my job and interests. Should I keep peeling off from my main page or should I start again with a new user pages?

I'd keep the same userpage -- delete stuff you don't want, copy practices stuff you want to keep into your sandbox and possible add a new subsection on your user page called "My projects" or something along these lines to keep track of your pages. --Wayne Mackintosh 01:23, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

WIKI TEXT - MAKING LISTS

I've been playing around using wiki text to make lists and I'm not sure how to make a combined numbered and bulleted nested list?  I wanted to have a numbered list with a nested bulleted list...when I preview it doesn't have the numbers in sequence (i.e. it starts each new # with 1.) and adds in an extra bullet at the top of the nested part.  Have a look at my user page to see what I mean.  Help thanks!

Hi Hannah -- the WYSIWYG editor is not too good with nested bullets --- but you can do this with normal wikitext -- see instructions. I've posted an example on your user page -- if you click on the wikitext option, you will see how this works. The trick is to keep the first character of the syntax ("#" or "*") consistent for the list. --Wayne Mackintosh 23:12, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
