The most immediate tool worth having for null model analysis would be a copy of the Ecosim software available from Nicholas Gotelli as a free zip file. A more recently updated commercial version is available from Gary Entsminger.
Both Ecosim versions will open .txt files created by pasting data sets from this project into any simple text editor and saving.
