Once we have chosen what we actually want to DO, there is a design process.
Each design has certain commonalities:
Each design has at least one Moodle forum, even if it is just a forum for teacher to communicate with students. Why are forums Important?
The the other key elements are
CONTENT/input
A clear TASK
This should be simply and concisely expressed
SCAFFOLDING
If there are processes involved (like peer review, groupwork etc) you need to provide some help on how to engage successfully.
If there are special aspects to the skills involved, make this clear.
FEEDBACK LOOP
What do the students do to show they are engagaing or "getting it" ??
