Objective

To introduce students to the 4P's of marketing


Activity

Choose a tourism product and put it through the marketing mix - Product, Price, Place and Promotion


Task

Apply the 4P's of marketing to the Dunedin historic house - Olveston

  1. A full description of the product and service
  2. The price/s - for the product/service
  3. A place or means of distribution (points of sale)
  4. Explain how it is presently being promoted - can you think of two more avenues of promotion
