To gain knowledge of target marketing and segmentation


To summarise the terms target marketing and segmentation and design an activity around these terms.


Stage One:

Visit the websites listed below and from them write a summary of what you believe target marketing and segmentation is. Please distinguish between the two.

Please identify two target markets for New Zealand (as a holiday destination) from the Tourism NZ site and explain your choice.

Remember to put this information into your own words and reference your work.

Stage Two:

Now using the information you have gathered design an activity, which identifies market segmentation, which we could use in class.
