On successful completion of this section, you will be able to:
- Make informed choices about learner-centred pedagogy in learning design, taking learner and contextual factors, and the views of stakeholders, into account.
- Critically examine your institution’s/employer’s strategies, policies and practices related to learning considering their appropriateness for meeting student needs (including Learning and Teaching Strategic Framework, assessment and moderation, online and blended learning etc.).

- What mechanisms are there for ensuring consultation with stakeholders informs the curriculum?
- What specific needs of stakeholders are incorporated into the curriculum?
- How do you personally maintain an ongoing relationship with external stakeholders such as industry and professional bodies?

- Identify an area of your work where you need to gather evidence for a quality assurance process.
- This may be internal or external moderation, annual programme review, evaluation of a new teaching approach or learning innovation.
- Use the PDSA (Plan, Do, Study, Act) cycle to plan how you might use a continuous improvement approach in your work.
