Find out how to implement the teaching plan you developed in the previous topic. This corresponds to the Do phase of the PDSA cycle. We will look in more depth at some of the sorts of learning activities that can be incorporated into a session and how these can be facilitated.

Brett's tips for success

While it's essential to have a well-developed written plan for a teaching session, remember that success will also depend on how well you implement it!

In an interactive session, the facilitator has to 'think on their feet' to respond to what learners say and do. At times you will need to refocus learners and guide them back onto the topic without just giving them the answers.

Also, learners are complex human beings - at times we will need to manage their behaviour :-)
