Workshop 1 Prep Notes (Vincent Kizza)

1. To present WikiEducator as a:

  • a platform for teacher collaboration
  • a platform for curriculum specific OER creation using OERUG and AfroPhysics as references.
  • opportunities for online and face to face wiki skill trainings.

2. To initiate a team from among the participants that will maintain the CfSU page in WE.

  • to identify their interests in developing OER curricula;
  • to identify their level of digital competency;
  • to identify possible Pilot Projects, upon which they might collaborate in small groups, to support each other vs. as isolated individuals
