I'm interested in the tension between 'closed' and 'open' approaches to education - in particular the ways in which institutional structures, policies, systems etc. need to change in response to the OER and other 'movements' that are disrupting many traditional conceptions and practices. If there is a vision it's a bit blurred at the moment because I'm totally consumed by the inertia of the current system - but am looking forward to going a bit haywire in Dunedin for a day ! :)
