WOMEN AT THE WELL™

Discover the Leader Within You

Friday, November 21, 2008 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM

Institute of Transpersonal Psychology 1069 East Meadow Circle, Palo Alto, CA (Directions at www.itp.edu/contact.php)

Speaker: Meerah Rajavel

Meerah Rajavel believes that the toughest person to lead in your life is YOU. She also believes that life gives you many chances to discover your inner calling, and it doesn't stop until you find it! That is true in her case as well.

As an only child, Meerah always liked being around other people, and she thrived when she felt a sense of community, something bigger than herself. When she was in Girl Scouts, Meerah enjoyed the community service; in college, she enjoyed organizing events to reach out to the community or rock the boat for change. However, she realized her true calling when she was in business school writing her own "Personal Tribute." It helped her penetrate multiple layers in herself and discover her core values and internal compass. It helped her articulate her vision for life and discover the leader within. The process that really helped Meerah to clarify her vision was talking to people to broaden her perspective.

Meerah Rajavel is Senior Manager, Worldwide Sales Process & System, for Cisco. She has been in the IT industry for over 15 years and is recognized as a renowned leader in many forums. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Thiagaraja College of Engineering, India, and an MBA from Leavey Business School, Santa Clara University.
