Technology can also be used to engage students and enhance their learning outside the classroom. Albrecht's blog provides some ideas in this regard, but you may also want to think about how you teach or give students 'homework'. The blog also introduces the idea of a flipped classroom, where students go through content outside the classroom and class time is used for discussion, debate and collaboration. A simple explanation and justification for flipped classrooms is provided in the video clip Why I flipped my classroom.

Could flipped teaching work in your context? If so, how could you use technology to help students work through the content before coming to class?
