ELIAS OBUDHO
Personal Information
Mr. Obudho is a lecturer from the Department of Plant Science and Crop Protection of the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
Education Background
Mr. Obudho holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics (Statistics major) and a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Nairobi.
He is currently registered for PhD in Dryland Resource Management at the same university.
Responsiblities
Obudho is a Biometrician and currently lecture at the University of Nairobi. He is also involved in research, consultancy and supervision of research students, in particularly, application of statistical concepts in their research work.
Research Interests
Research areas of interest include Research Methodology, Participatory Research and Design and Analysis of Experiments. He has worked on research areas that include the integration of gender into farmers selection of maize varieties.
He is also involved in outreach through Biometrics Unit of Consultancy BUCS

BUCS
Biometry Unit of Consultancy
Within the Department of Plant Science and Crop Protection we have the Biometrics Unit which services the entire Faculty of Agriculture in all Mathematical, Statistical and Computer Application units. The Unit remodelled itself to Biometrics Unit of Consultancy Services (BUCS), the income generation arm that also deals with outreach activities. In collaboration with SSC of Reading University, ICRAF and ILRI, they have provided consultancy services and commissioned courses within and without the University. Through their collaboration, the Unit was also involved in writing a Genstat Statistical Software manual which is available in the ICRAF web page.

Mr. Obudho is a lecturer from the Department of Plant Science and Crop Protection of the | University of Nairobi, Kenya. Mr. Obudho holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Master of Science degree in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Nairobi. As a Biometrician, he currently lectures at the University of Nairobi and is also involved in research, consultancy and supervision of research students, in particularly, application of statistical concepts in their research.
