Biometry Unit of Consultancy

Within the Department of Plant Science and Crop Protection, we have the Biometrics Unit which services the entire Faculty of Agriculture in all Mathematical, Statistical, and Computer Application units. The Unit remodeled itself to Biometrics Unit of Consultancy Services (BUCS), the income generation arm that also deals with outreach activities. In collaboration with SSC of Reading University, ICRAF, and ILRI, they have provided consultancy services and commissioned courses within and without the University. Through their collaboration, the Unit was also involved in writing a Genstat Statistical Software manual which is available on the ICRAF web page.
