We have now covered the basics of H5P, and you have successfully created several different activities. Are you ready to try some other types of activity?. This is your chance to explore and manage your own learning.
However, if you don't have time at the moment to create different activities, don't worry! You have already created enough individual activities for your submission for the 'H5P Author' Badge. You can come back to this page later if you wish. The remaining requirement for the badge is to create a container, combining at least two new activities within it, so you can move on to the Combining H5P activities page now if you prefer.
Optional activity: Explore another activity type
1. Visit the H5P Examples and downloads page again and click on an activity type that interests you. Each one has examples and, usually, a tutorial like the one you used to create your Multiple Choice question. To make it easier to find what you want, select the 'Tasks' view as shown in the screenshot below - this excludes most containers from the list.
Here are a few suggestions for common activity types that only need intermediate skills:
- Fill in the Blanks
- Image Hotspots
- Drag and Drop with an image
However, you don't have to limit yourself to these types if there are others that interest you more.
If you do not find enough information in the tutorial provided, search the internet for a video of someone demonstrating how to create that H5P activity: use "H5P" and the activity name in your search. Try to find a recent video if you can; sometimes older videos do not show the most recent version of the software.
2. Create your activity and test it.
3. Embed your activity into your H5P practice blog.
