Purpose
The purpose of developing this site is to open up English language learning in a way that 1) provides opportunities for both credit-seeking and non-credit seeking English language learners to interact and 2) gives English language educators a chance to collaborate with each other as well.
Background
Provide a context and/or background of charter members.
Mission
To create a more equitable English language learning experience to those English language learners who wish to improve their English.
Evidence of Achievement
Success for this project will be the completion of objectives, essential questions, and related content for all eight levels.
Membership roles and obligations
Members list their roles and obligations (both at the member or group level) - or ground rules - including what the team will do if members fail to adhere to agreement. Membership roles might include stating the team facilitator and other important assumptions regarding the rules of the game (i.e., reaching a consensus, netiquette, etc.)
Scheduled Milestones
- Level II scheduled to be completed by August of 2010.
- One additional level every six months thereafter
Operations
A to-do list itemizing tasks and those responsible for each task with respective due dates.
