Discussion on group management strategies, how to set rules/guidelines for groups - what to say in briefings - how to ensure the group stays together 

Assessment

 

• Activity - Finding different types of leaders (on Wiki under assessments) - written assessment to be done in class

Briefing and preparation time for - Leadership skills (Assessment) - give each of the students a location that can be walked to - e.g. Knox Church, Logan Park, Cricket Ground, Uni registry, Captain Cook, Bill Robertson Library, Art Gallery, Stadium, Polytechnic, etc - go through the assessment and set out what will be required of them.
